A partir de deshechos plásticos encontrados en entornos naturales, Rodolfo Walsh ha creado una serie de falsos fósiles que simulan esqueletos animales atrapados en formaciones de ámbar como los que comúnmente se ven en museos de historia natural. Siguiendo la línea de su trabajo reciente que integra con ironía la plástica con la naturaleza, estos modernos simulados objetos ancestrales nos recuerdan la invasión de un ámbito por parte del otro y anuncian, con humor, un trágico futuro en el que la vida llegará a ser reemplazada por lo artificial.

Through the use of disposed plastic collected in natural environments, Rodolfo Walsh has created a series of false fossils. These false fossils simulate animal skeletons trapped in prehistoric amber such as those commonly seen in museums of natural history. Following his recent line of work which ironically integrates plastic and nature, these modern simulated ancestral objects remind us of the invasion of one ambit by the other. They also humoristically announce a tragic future in which life as we know it will be replaced by the artificial.
